Refund Policy
This policy explains trials, cancellation and refunds for products billed by WuNEO, and distinguishes different transaction types.
Refunds and cancellation
A free trial is an opportunity to evaluate a product before payment, not automatically a post-purchase refund period. WordTally’s desktop app has a 21-day trial; this does not establish a 21-day unconditional refund after purchase.
Cancelling automatic renewal stops future charges and does not ordinarily refund the current payment. Unless refunded or lawfully terminated earlier, paid service remains available until the period ends. Deleting an account is not the same as cancelling a subscription or requesting a refund. Refunds should be requested separately.
The WuNEO operator responsible for the transaction handles refund requests through the actual payment channel. The statement descriptor displays WUNEO, which does not alter the fact that you purchased a particular product licence or service.
One-time software licences
WordTally 1.x and other one-time buyout licences provide a 14-day voluntary commercial refund window from the date of purchase. Because the software includes a 21-day full-feature free trial, this window is primarily intended to resolve installation incompatibilities and unforeseen technical defects. Completing a trial does not remove your statutory remedies.
After a refund, the relevant licence entitlement will be revoked. A refund itself does not require deletion of existing statistics on your device. Subsequent feature access follows the unlicensed rules.
Initial subscription payments and renewals
For new subscriptions to continuous services such as NeoSync, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial charge.
For automatic recurring renewal charges, if an unintended renewal occurs, you may contact us within 48 hours of the renewal charge to request a refund. Cancelling mid-cycle stops future renewals, and service remains available until the end of the paid period without pro-rata refunds.
A subscription refund terminates the covered service period and stops future renewals. Refunds, service termination and cloud data deletion are handled separately. A refund does not imply immediate erasure of all data.
Duplicate charges, non-delivery, serious defects and suspected unauthorised transactions should receive appropriate correction or remedies following verification, payment-channel procedures and applicable law, without improper restriction by a commercial refund window. Report issues promptly; a police report is not a prerequisite for contacting us.
Statutory consumer rights
Voluntary commercial refunds do not replace applicable rights of withdrawal, repair, replacement, price reduction or reimbursement. Rights and remedies depend on the market, contract and issue.
For transactions subject to EU or UK rules, digital content and ongoing services require separate assessment. Immediate digital delivery does not automatically remove withdrawal rights. Where an exception applies, relevant conditions include prior express consent, acknowledgement of the loss of rights and the required contract confirmation. Charges for services supplied during a withdrawal period also depend on applicable information duties and requests for early performance.
Applicable withdrawal instructions, channels, required forms and durable confirmations should accompany the actual checkout flow. A stop-renewal button does not automatically constitute an exercise of a statutory withdrawal right.
Making a request
Refund requests are handled through our official support channel at support@wuneo.com. Please provide your purchase email, product name, payment date and an available receipt or order reference. A brief explanation helps verification. Do not send a full card number, verification code, password or unrelated sensitive information.
We typically review and respond within 2 to 3 business days.
Processing and arrival
Approved refunds are initiated through the original payment channel (such as Stripe) within applicable deadlines. Arrival depends on the payment method and bank, typically within 5 to 10 business days. We provide status or a refund reference where available; bank processing time is not a reason to delay initiating a refund indefinitely.
Currency, taxes, partial refunds and fee treatment should be established in the applicable policy. Issuer exchange rates and cross-border fees may affect the displayed credit, without reducing amounts or rights required by applicable law.
Unlaunched fixed-duration passes, app stores and other channels are not current refund offerings. Their rules and request channels should be supplied before they become available.
